Close up- I love the red fabric!

I love this fabric too!

Sewn with black thread around the cuff/open edge.

Pretty flowers!
This bright pillowcase is made of 6 different patterned fabrics. This would be a great gift for your sweetheart, or anyone who likes flowers and the color red. One of the fabrics is red flannel which is hard to see in these photos, the other bright red has a small pattern on it.
Made of cotton fabric. The inside seams are pinked and should not fray with normal washing.
Will fit standard pillows and measures approximately 19.75in. x 27.5in.
Made in a non-smoking home in Portland, with Love!

Forest Friends pillowcase

Front
Back (owl made by my friend Crystal and not included, sorry...)
Pieced green fabric "We're Forest Friends, We're Forest Friends, we like to play with our Frisbee" Cute star fabric!
Animals at the lake fabric.

A little too short!

Close up...cozy flannel.

Tree fabric

Once upon a time, my friend Abbi and I made a Forest Friends song...it's a long story. hehe.
This cute fabric totally called for a wintery pillowcase. It would be a great gift for kids (and adults too!). Made of cozy cotton flannel.
This pillowcase is a little shorter than I'd hoped to make it, so some pillows may stick out an inch or so. Both of the dark green panels were pieced to make the panel long enough. It measures 25.5 in x 19.5 in. Inside seams are pinked and should not fray too much with normal washing.

Dinosaur Stripe pillowcase!!!

Things have been busy lately... i have had a cold, also been working hard on halloween costumes (more about that later) and i have been looking for work.

BUT....
I've made some pillowcases!

This colorful dinosaur fabric inspired me to make a pillowcase. I've been saving it for a few years, but it was such a small piece i hadn't made anything with it yet. (small enough i even had to piece a little bit of it!)

the red edge by the dinosaurs is cozy flannel!

kitty not included...
fabric from my stash.

This pillowcase is great for all ages!

close up of the green fabric.

Made of cotton. Inside seams are pinked and should not fray with normal washing. Made with love in Portland by me! The pillowcase measures 19.5x27 inches (should fit standard pillows.)

horizon

it would be really weird if Bruhn was a casio band...

we've sorta talked about doing a split cassette and singing made-up words to each other's songs. hahaha.... we'll see. the tapes are only 20 mins long total, but i have a bunch left.

but yeah maybe i'd try to do a cover song... on casio. hahaha.

meow...

i'm thankful for all my best friends i've had throughout the years... but i'm so glad i've been friends with alissa this last year. seriously, what a good time to meet a super encouraging inspiring artist friend. and it's often hard to make good friends, and then some people you just click with...and that's awesome. and getting to know all her other inspiring friends...that's super rad too... hooray!

my grandma still hangs out with friends from kindergarten, and college. and this weekend my dad's sailing with his two best friends from high school/college... so yeah... most of my friends i've had the longest i met in high school, and then just in the last few years...

but i want to have friends for a long time, and i was glad this year that i ran into and reconnected with two best friends where we'd had weird break-ups sort of (mostly my fault..eep). the awkwardness was worth it, just to know we don't hate each other. and it's not like we've hung out much yet, but at least that huge weight is gone, and our friendships are opened back up, so whether we hang out a lot or never, everything just feels better.

and then there's friends i still think of every day, but we just got busy with school and life and never hang out. but i hope we'll be able to hang out eventually...rollerskating. or something. cuz friends are really important... and part of why i'm who i am right now is cuz of being good friends with certain people in my life. they changed what music i listened to, what hobbies i was into....

and a year ago i wouldn't've been posting drawings online... cuz last summer i was like "i suck at drawing." so who knows, maybe next summer, i'll be riding bikes to the IPRC. hehe!
