i love this by Amy Rice.

and for art class we have to choose an artist to do a series, and i guess i'm going to embroider (!!) and so i chose Jenny Hart cuz i like her portraits of musicians (um, not so much the naked ladies..ha) so... my first plan is to do one of The Beauty and then i don't know how much time it all will take. i'm going to have to plan this out well so i don't end up making way too much work and not being able to finish it.

soooo... we'll see. we have 6 weeks, and i'm kind of hoping to do two.

ps: if you're wondering if i like The White Stripes, the answer is no...

this photo was in with my grandparents' million photos. and on the back it says "Patsy- You'd know her anyway" but we have no idea who she is. but it's such a great record album shot, so if i ever write an accordion album and find some amazing wallpaper... i'll do a photo shoot!


my newest mixchange adventure... accordions are one of my favorites. it was fun figuring out what to do with the awesome paper that had hexagon shaped perforations. haha. and there were way too many songs to fit them all on, so it was sort of a 'bands with accordions' mix, and i took out some more instrumentally awesome songs. so maybe those will show up later.
i also left off some others that i really like but have put on other mixes recently, like one by talkdemonic and by modest mouse.

and i realized the superkiiid's song is really titled "diet d'orangelo"...rather than "rip van winkle."

i'm soooo excited for PDX POP NOW!
