I have mainly been working a lot lately... not to much crafty stuff going on though i did start coloring some of my africa comics, and erasing!

i've been working a lot on printmaking for classes and also trying to figure out how to print patterns for dresses..with screenprinting.
and these are random photos. the bruhn show, and a carte postale.

also, trying to work on stuff for my album like we sent stuff off to be duplicated and then i'm (sorta) working on a booklet.
i made a cd box for 3 cds using my bookmaking skills (i know i went to art school for something useful!)... to send off to mike's most favorite songwriter, which will include imaginary airship's Where Dreams Take Flight, bruhn's Pull From This End, and upsidedown cat's Soon Fall Will Be Here.

so i'm doing fine, but i need to put a zipper in a dress so i can wear it to a wedding, and do like 50 other things this week as well...whew...

this week

today i worked on this. i should have planned something other than the peach... i may try to fix that somehow. like more pink or more orange may have been better. anyways! i had trouble with my stencil earlier and today everything worked pretty well and it was really satisfying to print them. yay! and i'm excited for working on songs and making a split tape with my friend chris. the word bubbles will have the song track lists in them. upsidedown cat vs bruhn. it's gonna be great!



2nd of a series, the song Abbi by the beauty plus abbi's face. i'm working on the hair right now, and it's going to be critiqued monday or weds (and i don't know which!) so i'm going to work on it allll this weekend, and i think i'll do that right now...
yep. it's been really fun though!
the term is almost over... aughhh... it's always such a crazy time, but this year is just getting better and better. thanks friends, you're awesome!!!

it would be really weird if Bruhn was a casio band...

we've sorta talked about doing a split cassette and singing made-up words to each other's songs. hahaha.... we'll see. the tapes are only 20 mins long total, but i have a bunch left.

but yeah maybe i'd try to do a cover song... on casio. hahaha.

currently working on a screen for chris' band shirts...
and i've screenprinted off and on for several years, but only done drawing fluid method once before, sooo... i may have to do touch ups on the letters, but most of it looks good. eeep. yay!

you can hear his songs, too. the album will soon be done, which is rad.
